DDT Gala

What a long but fantastic day at the 1st DDT gala in Llandudno. We had a team of 34 swimmers competing today with fantastic results. Well done to Elliott Baker, Sian Casilao, Alicia & Laura Clark, Osca Clark, Jacob Evans, Georgia & Olivia Fairclough, Jessica-Ann Hegarty, Maisie Hickey, Lydia & Nadine Hughes, Jeskah & Matty Jones, Jessica King, Millie Lloyd, Alistair & Samantha Macaulay, Amy Martin, Daniel & Matthew Meehan, Georgia & Harry Owen, James Park, Nia Pepper, Lily ...Roberts, Shauna Rogers, Jason Stockin, Erin Thomas, Ellie Williams & Olivia Williams, Gregory & Nikita Williams and Rebecca Williams who between them had a staggering 96 personal best times, 14 gold medals, 22 silver medals and 23 bronze medals. Well done to Daniel Meehan and Matthew Jones for getting through to the skins and finishing 7th & 8th, also to Nia Pepper who finished 2nd and Rebecca Williams who finished 3rd.

Osca Clark finished 1st in the top 11 year old boy category, James Park 2nd in 12 year old, Matthew Jones 2nd and Jacob Evans 3rd in the 15 year olds, Nia Pepper 2nd in the 14 year olds, Shauna Rogers 2nd in 15 year olds, Rebecca Williams 2nd and Laura-Jayne Clark 3rd in the 16 & over category.   Rhyl finished 2nd overall in both the boys and girls categories.
